BMJ Paediatrics Open is an open access journal dedicated to publishing original research, study protocols and clinical reviews that deal with any aspect of child health. The provision of child health is multidisciplinary and international. The journal welcomes papers from all health care professions from anywhere in the world. Papers dealing with paediatric specialties, paediatric surgery, public health, or healthcare provision will all be considered.
Publication decisions will be made on the scientific validity, ethical soundness and transparency of the research and whether the paper deserves publication, rather than on its apparent interest to any particular readership. BMJ Paediatrics Open is pleased to announce a call for papers on the theme of ‘Child Health in China’.
This Special Collection welcome original papers, review articles, research letters, and editorials on any aspect of child health and wellbeing in China, and specifically covering the general remit of:
- specific diagnostic or management measures (or guidelines) for children in China
- epidemiological studies of common diseases affecting children in China
- improving the healthcare for children by the government and health workers
- reducing health inequalities
- the effects of climate change on children’s health
- rational drug therapy
The deadline for submissions is 30th March 2023.
Accepted articles will be formally published as soon as they are ready to avoid delays.
